Occasionally it
is necessary for breeders to look for suitable
homes for retired show and breeding cats.
There can be different reasons, ie; a
certain cat does not get along with the other
cats, not all female cats are good
mothers, and sometimes a kitten kept
for a future breeding queen or stud will not
be suitable when they have reached
maturity.
These cats will
make excellent pets and this page is intended to
give web site visitors an
opportunity to buy a young adult or an older cat.

I'm looking to home
Brie with a retired couple or someone who lives on their own and
needs some company as Brie would love this, she is in need of some
fuss and attention that unfortunately due to the change in my role
and the hours that my Husband and I work we do not see her and
have time to give her when we get home that she needs. I will miss
her very much but its for the right reasons as she is very lonely
and loves lots of attention and cuddles. Brie is a British Blue/Cream
shorthaired female she is 5yrs old this September and has
been neutered and chipped.
Please let me know if you
can help or need any further details, she will make someone a
great companion.
Thanks
Jennifer Allmond

Jo
Clements, who is the Welfare Officer for the Chinchilla, Silver
Tabby & Smoke Cat Society, is taking in a 9 year-old Blue-Cream
British SH via Cats Protection. They initially told Jo that the cat
was a Blue Persian, but having got her paperwork they now see she is
a BSH. Her owner is elderly and has gone into residential care and
can't take the cat. She has been in a boarding cattery for a few
weeks but now must be moved on.
Jo
has offered to take this cat into our rescue cattery and find her a
suitable home, apparently she is a friendly, healthy cat.
You
can contact Jo direct on josieclem@tiscali.co.uk
or telephone 01380 722900.
